Me and my cousin have been trying to have a baby. We both were going to take our pregnancy tests at the same time so that we could tell each other if either of us was pregnant. I get a text at 8am which is 5am Hawaii time, and it read, "negatvie =( ." So, I ran to the bathroom, ready to pee on the stick. In my mind, I was thinking, it's not going to be positive, and I was devising a way to prank my husband. "OMG! I'm pregnant, NOT!!!" and show him the stick. The deed was done. Now to wait for those longest 3-5 minutes of my life. A friend of mine at work kept telling me I was pregnant. I told her I had been sick the week before with a cold. She mentioned that pregnancy comes in threes. She already has 2 friends that were pregnant, and also has be sick with colds previous to them finding out they were pregnant. I would be the 3rd friend. But I thought, "I just got off the pill", birth control that is. I thought it takes a while before you can get pregnant again, which is why doctors suggest to stop the pill months before you are planning to conceive.
Time for the result.......... PREGNANT!!!!
I thought,"OMG, I'm pregnant! I'm really pregnant!" no joke! My friend at work had called it first. She was right. Amazing! I texted my cousin right away. "Positive!" I still didn't believe hers was negative. I needed hard proof, and thought that when she gets her blood test done, then that will be the end all and be all result. On the other hand, now I had to think of how to tell my darling husband, who was still asleep in bed. I made an appointment with my doctor right away.
Later that day, I broke the news to Brian. His reaction, "Wow! I'm going to be a father, again!" haha!
